Plenty of us need a little extra help when looking to shed a few pounds. There is so much that can stand in our way. A good weight loss supplement, particularly a good thermogenic supplement, should help to mitigate many of these pitfalls.

Modere Trim doesn’t. It is one of the biggest disappointments in the weight management supplement sphere. There is nothing redeeming about it – the formula is weird, lacks basic coherence and any kind of scientific rigour, and is ridiculously overpriced. I am not a fan.

Modere Trim is terrible.

Its formula suffers from a lack of transparency. What we do know doesn’t inspire confidence – there is so much missing and nothing much there that makes me think that it would work.

Move on and try something else – there are plenty of good options out there. This is not one of them.

My preferred choice would be Capsiplex Trim – a well researched, fully transparent supplement that performs well in our testing.

About Modere Trim

Modere is a leading company who specializes in putting out clean health and wellness products. As part of this, Modere’s key focus seems to be on developing clean lifestyle products. These include beauty and personal care items, nutrition supplements, and household essentials.

And their apparent commitment to formulating products without the use of controversial chemicals and compounds really seems to set them apart. By doing this, the company ensures that its products are safe and beneficial for its customers.

It can be quite impressive at times. Modere’s dedication to a philosophy of holistic clean living goes beyond just the ingredients they use in their products. It extends to every aspect of the brand, including its business operations, company culture, community activism, and environmental advocacy. This commitment to overall wellness and sustainability is at the core of the brand.

Modere prides itself on its research and development efforts. The company is dedicated to creating science-based formulas that are both safe and effective. These formulas are rigorously safety-tested to ensure customer satisfaction.

Their products include Liquid BioCell collagen, Modere CellProof skin care, Body Transformation System, and Modere Axis TreBiotic. These products have received recognition and accolades, including being named the Best Weight Management product in 2019 and the Best Anti-Aging product.

They have an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and are an active member of various industry organizations, including the American Herbal Products Association, Personal Care Products Council, National Animal Supplements Council, Collagen Stewardship Alliance, and Fragrance Creators’ Association.

In short, they are a respected brand whom you should be able to trust.

This makes it all the worse that they have put out such a terrible supplement with Modere Trim, a weight loss supplement that comprehensively fails to deliver on its promises.

Despite following the recommended dosage, maintaining a healthy diet, and exercising regularly, I did not see any noticeable difference in my weight or body composition (more below). This isn’t a surprise. Their formula reads like so much snake oil.

And they charge you a lot for it. When purchasing a weight loss product, it is reasonable to expect that the product is worth the price and will provide the desired outcomes. In the case of Modere Trim, the lack of results combined with the high cost left me feeling pretty angry. I rarely loose my objectivity when reviewing a product, but I did so here. It was a complete rip-off.

In addition to the lack of efficacy and the eye-wateringly high price, the taste and texture of Modere Trim are also unpleasant. The powder doesn’t dissolve completely, instead leaving a grainy texture, and the resulting goop tastes incredibly artificial.

Having a product that is enjoyable to consume can make the weight loss journey more bearable. Modere Trim falls incredibly far short of this bar, as it does many others.

I also find that the lack of transparency regarding the ingredients used in Modere Trim is concerning. There is limited information available about the specific components of the formula, which makes it difficult to assess the safety and effectiveness of the product.

As a consumer and reviewer, I value transparency. You should always know what you’re putting into your body and so I always rail against proprietary formulas and the like. If I wasn’t already disappointed enough, this does it for me.

Overall, my experience with Modere Trim has been disappointing. The lack of results, high price, unpleasant taste and texture, and lack of ingredient transparency make it a very hard sell. I would recommend anybody and everybody look elsewhere (again, see below). You’ll save yourself time, money, and, ultimately, you’ll see the results you’re after.

How Modere Trim Works

Obviously, as you can tell from my commentary so far, Modere Trim doesn’t really work. It won’t do much for you.

Even if it would (and it won’t), you should also note that no weight loss supplement is a magic bullet. You need to couple them with exercise and a balanced, calorie appropriate diet, full of whole, unprocessed foods.

So what can Modere Trim do for you? In the interests of fairness, it does make a few promising sounding claims.

For instance, Modere Trim may have potential benefits for joint health and tissue rebuilding due to its collagen content.

Collagen is a protein that plays a vital role in maintaining the structure and integrity of connective tissues, including cartilage and tendons. By providing the necessary amino acids for tissue repair, Modere Trim may support joint health and possibly reduce discomfort associated with conditions such as osteoarthritis. This has nothing to do with weight loss, but it’s kind of nice.

Modere Trim may help your weight loss efforts by increasing satiety and reducing cravings. The collagen peptides in Modere Trim can contribute to a feeling of fullness, making it easier to stick to a calorie-restricted diet. There is limited evidence for this, but the claim is there and there are many who stand by it.

In terms of muscle tone, Modere Trim may provide some benefits when combined with regular exercise. The amino acids in collagen can support muscle repair and growth, potentially leading to improved muscle tone.

However, it’s crucial to remember that exercise is the primary driver of muscle tone, and Modere Trim should not be relied upon as a substitute for a proper workout regimen. In addition, Modere’s claims to help with ‘muscle tone’ are a red flag. Muscle tone doesn’t exist. Muscle growth and fat loss do. Anybody telling you they can help to tone your muscles is either ignorant or insincere.

Based on the ingredients, Modere Trim may have some limited benefits for weight loss. Modere attributes this mostly to the unknown concentration of CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) and collagen peptides.

CLA has been associated with a small effect on fat metabolism and body weight, while collagen peptides are primarily known for their benefits in improving skin appearance. It’s a funny formula that doesn’t inspire much confidence.

It is important to note that the potential benefits of Modere Trim in terms of fat loss may only be noticeable after prolonged use, and even then, it is not guaranteed. This is best-case scenario stuff. The limited effects of the ingredients make it unlikely for the product to significantly contribute to weight loss at all – I would be surprised to learn that anybody gained much more than a placebo or simply just perceived benefit.

None of the ingredients in Modere Trim are known to trigger severe allergies, which is good. You’re probably simply throwing money and hope down the drain without actually ruining your health. It’s a slim silver lining, but it’s there. However, given the obfuscation involved in their formula’s dosing, I wouldn’t be 100% confident of this.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that if one wishes to incorporate CLA supplementation, there are more cost-effective options available compared to Modere Trim. They charge you through the nose for what is actually a widely available, low-cost ingredient.

Overall, Modere Trim offers limited evidence-based health benefits. While it may support joint health, weight loss, and ‘muscle tone’ when used in conjunction with a balanced diet and exercise, it should not be seen as a standalone solution.

It will likely give you no benefits in your weight loss journey. This is OK, though. There are plenty of cheaper options that actually work out there.

Ingredients

So what do Modere pin their hopes on? Largely, a short list of ingredients with very limited applicability to weight loss.

As we’ve seen, it relies heavily on CLA. CLA has recently gained attention for its potential weight loss benefits. Some studies have shown that CLA can boost fat metabolism and reduce fat accumulation, leading to weight loss.

Modere Trim Ingredients list

However, the scientific evidence surrounding CLA’s effectiveness is mixed. While some studies suggest a correlation between CLA and increased fat oxidation, there are also studies that show little to no effect on weight loss.

Given that it’s the star player, and it’s so flawed, I cannot help but feel a little more confident in my low opinion of Modere Trim.

Then there is Liquid BioCell, a blend of hyaluronic acid and collagen. Hyaluronic acid is primarily known for its moisturizing properties and does not have any kind of meaningful correlation with weight loss that I can find.

On the other hand, collagen has been found to have some fat-burning benefits. A study from 2008 suggests that regular consumption of collagen can increase thermogenesis, leading to increased fat burning. However, the thermogenic effect of collagen is nothing compared to the likes of capsicum extract and caffeine, found in other common weight loss supplements like PhenQ.

Modere Trim also contains eleven filler ingredients that do not provide any significant benefits. Some of these filler ingredients, such as Rebaudioside A, may even cause side effects like bloating and nausea.

The presence of these filler ingredients raises concerns about the formulation. I honestly don’t know what they were thinking when they wrote this recipe.

There are also a lot of standard, easily sourced ingredients missing from Modere Trim. For instance, I don’t know why we don’t see glucomannan, or konjac root, a fantastic hunger-suppressing fibre found in supplements like Leanbean. Glucomannan is known to increase feelings of fullness with less food, making it easier to maintain a calorie deficit.

There are also no fat inhibitors, like nopal cactus, which is found in supplements like PhenQ. Nopal cactus binds to dietary fats, preventing their absorption by the body and reducing future fat accumulation. It would be the easiest thing for Modere to include something like this. But no.

Additionally, Modere Trim does not include caffeine, which is known for its ability to boost fat oxidation. Caffeine intake has been shown to increase energy expenditure, prompting the body to convert more fat into usable energy.

Capsicum extract would be good, too, or even just a dash of green tea extract. Anything that will actually work to heighten thermogenesis with any kind of clinical data backing up its use.

There is nothing much worthwhile in Modere Trim’s formula, and plenty that is missing. They have failed in the basics whilst throwing useless filler into an already quite bizarre mishmash of disparate ingredients with little bearing to weight loss. I don’t understand it.

Using Modere Trim

Modere Trim is unsurprisingly disappointing to use.

One of the main issues I have found with Modere Trim is that it does not deliver on its promises. The product claims to help boost metabolism and promote fat burning, but I did not seen any significant results while using it.

Despite following the recommended dosage and maintaining a healthy diet and exercise routine, I did not notice any difference in my weight or body composition, where I would when using one of the better thermogenic fat burners (or even when simply taking konjac root on its own).

This makes the price hard to swallow. Though not as hard to swallow as Modere Trim itself. The taste and texture are pretty terrible. It’s kind of grainy and the flavour is incredibly synthetic.

And then there’s the obfuscation. To say that the lack of transparency regarding the ingredients used in Modere Trim is concerning is an understatement. I really wouldn’t be comfortable recommending even a good-looking supplement to anybody where dosage was hidden.

Again, you should know what you’re putting into your body – this includes how much of anything you’re taking. And while it claims to be made with natural ingredients, there is limited information available about the specific components of the formula. You really cannot trust what they tell you about the formula.

Overall, my experience with Modere Trim has been disappointing. It did not deliver on its promises, had an unpleasant taste and texture, and lacked transparency regarding its ingredients.

For those looking for a weight loss product, I would recommend exploring other options that have proven results and better value for money.

Alternatives

If you’re looking for an alternative to Modere Trim, you might want to consider Capsiplex Trim. It is one of the best products in the market for weight management. It elegantly combines natural ingredients and innovative technology to help support your weight loss journey.

Capsiplex Trim bottle

One of the key ingredients in Capsiplex Trim is capsicum extract, derived from chili peppers. Hallelujah. Capsicum extract is known to have thermogenic properties, meaning that it can increase your body’s metabolic rate and help burn more calories.

This can be particularly beneficial for those looking to shed excess weight. Any self-respecting weight loss supplement should include a good thermogenic element.

In addition to capsicum extract, Capsiplex Trim also contains other ingredients such as caffeine, niacin, and black pepper extract, all of which are excellent options.

These ingredients work together to further boost your metabolism, increase energy levels, and support overall weight management, which is exactly what you need from a good weight loss supplement.

Capsiplex Trim is also formulated to be slow-release, allowing for sustained effects throughout the day. This is especially useful for individuals who struggle with cravings or have difficulty maintaining their energy levels.

Capsiplex Trim is also trustworthy – it’s manufactured in facilities that adhere to strict quality standards, so you can be assured of its safety and effectiveness.

So if you’re looking for an alternative to Modere Trim – and you should be – then Capsiplex Trim is definitely worth considering. Its blend of natural ingredients, thermogenic properties, and sustained-release formulation make it a popular choice for any of us looking to support our weight loss goals.

Remember to always consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement.

My Final Thoughts

I’ll end this review how I started it. Modere Trim is rubbish. It’s a real shame – a company like Modere should know better. They are big enough and well-funded enough to put the time into making a supplement that works. They also have a reputation that will only be tarnished by this kind of snake oil.

Don’t buy it. It won’t work. It won’t help you to lose weight. It might have some unintended benefits – largely because the ingredients are a complete mix of weird compounds with health benefits that have nothing at all to do with weight loss.

But ultimately, you’ll be paying through the nose for something that really doesn’t work.

There is plenty to hate here. But I’m done with it. I’ve got no more energy to waste on Modere Trim. My effort – and your effort – is far better spent elsewhere, with supplements that actually have some integrity to them.
